…..Tried reducing the water pressure still leaking from the drawer on wash and spin any ideas guys?
Model no 31135bwould be much appreciated as its my old mans and hes getting a bit annoyed cleaning the flooding 😡 😥 😥

Participantcommon problem
clear the sump hose and all will be fine
rear access panel off, black pipe from drum to pump
will be full of fluff and stuff
plug out, of corse

will give it a go mate thanx …also dad was asking is there a easy wasy to get the fan off the heater of the dryer as he cant find any fixing screws?

Participantits on a collet and a nut
theoretically, if you undo the nut it shoud slide off
but this is hootpoint we’re talkinabout

Excellent advice as i knew it would be lads the sump hose was blocked with all sorts (not the liqourice type)unblocked and no more drawer leaks….

Fan heater problem sorted Drawer leak sorted….
Now No power whatsoever 240 v ac going in okay! .this gets worse at every attempt to repair this machine. lol.any help would be thoroughlly appreciated.April 15, 2009 at 7:09 pm #282996helo_75
Participantid first check the buttons on the front arent stuck ,thats the usual set up.. a good thing to check first, is unplug the machine, and after a couple of seconds, plug it back in , whilst watching the leds on the front.. they should light up momentariy
oh, and id check the plug to the front board whilst uve been working in that area

machine is fooked lads ..hotpoint engineer had a look at it and its the power supply pcb thats gone ,so its a new machine for the old man ..thanks for all your help As always the site will get a big mention to all we know
