ParticipantHi, Customer just phoned to say the door lock light comes on anytime during a cycle and the machine stops. Any ideas? Has anyone else come across this? going to have a look Wednesday.

I will send you some WMA22 info, has the same controls. Door lock light should be on when machine is working.

Hi, I’ve had a look at this machine. the door interlock led is flashing. sometimes it will start a program, then stop again soon after and the door lock led starts flashing again. I did try another lock without success. I did notice after several attempts that the active led stayed on and the program end led was flashing. I’ve checked the wiring from interlock and that’s ok.Managed to get in on a spin program, then aborted a few seconds later.tried a component test programme, got as far as step 5 pressed start and wouldn’t do anything. Help!
Thanks.

The last time I had a similar fault I had to change the PCB to cure, symptoms almost identical to yours. 😥

Classic fault on these boards – in stock at £34.90+vat. Fit one of ours – THEN WAIT FOR 14 days to make sure the fault has been cleared. THEN send the ex unit back to us. This way you are absolutely sure the fault has cleared before committing to buy a board. If the fault is still there, even after 14 days, send the board back to us and look again at the machine.

KeymasterDo the next check: on door lock (into his contacts) put one power control lamp (between L&N) with all wires in (original) and see if this lamp is coming OFF before or after flashing board LEDs.
So you can see if PCB is cutting OFF door lock or can be damaged start/reset button. (Before that, check and clean PCB for possible dirty, condense)
