Would anyone know the part number for the motor that fits the Hotpoint WM52

the original GEC motor is no longer available. you would have to fit the later motor and a fitting kit that means a wiring mod. got the mod you need an IDC (insulation displacement connector) tool to connect the wires

you will prob need fixing kit 1
but beware the wiring is not 1 for 1 the connections are not in the same order as the original so you would have to work out where they go by measuring the old motor to the new one

think i may have the instruction somewhere but i may have to go digging

Thanks for that Dave, i think i did one a few years ago after what you have said about the kit and wiring. Will give the customer a price and see if they want it done or not, if i need any instructions i can always ask you later.

pity the armature is no longer available made it into a nice quick well paid job

Have Qualtex stopped making the ARM20, a while since I used one TBH.
