hotpoint washing machine blues

Just back from holiday and the first washing load -machine made a very loud crackling sound for around 2 minutes but continued to complete the cycle. the second load however got as far as washing, filled for the rinse then nothing. The on/off light, the enhanced wash light and minimum load light were all flashing. Neither the enhanced wash or minimum load were depressed for use. It wont empty and makes no sound apart from a quiet repeated click. I’ve had Hotpoint’s all my adult life and its not a fault Ive came across. I hope its not the electronic panel as I think that would be expensive to replace. Any advice -thanks

Model number vital as there as hundreds of duff Hotpoint’s out there…… 😉

Hundreds? Millions ever since they became Indesit 12 years ago. :rolls:
