Hotpoint washing machine broken

my hotpoint washing machine has a light on it which is flashing on the door locked how do i get the washing machine to work again

if you post the model number and clarify wether its just the door locked light flashing or any another other lights someone will help you.
if its just the door lock light try opening the door and closing it again.
if you go any further plug out please.

model number is wma 32 and it is just the door light that flashes then goes off and the washing machine does not still work

would you be able to help me as i am very desperate to get my washing machine fixed with 3 chuldren its hard to keep on top of the washin

did u hear a bang? no blue flashes from underneath?

it could just be the door lock.. u tried banging the door?

1st step.
Does the door shut properly?
Does it lock when shut?
Can you easily open the door without much pressure on the door latch?

These faults are usually due to one side of the door latch spring having been snapped off so you think you are shutting the door but there is no pressure to push the latch to activate the door interlock.
