Hotpoint washing machine – when is an F03 error not an F03 error?

I am working on a Hotpoint NSWM743UGGUK (869991581710 sn:562007027156) washing machine. I have already replaced the element and the element NTC sensor for new parts. This is the sequence of events on the “cottons” program:
1) starts by draining then filling the drum to about 2″ off the bottom of cylinder
2) then pauses for a minute
3) then start rotating the drum for 2 cycles clockwise, 2 cycles counter clockwise, for a few minutes
4) the heater comes on and draws approx 1800 watts
5) with the heater on the machine continues with 2 cycles clockwise, 2 cycles counter clockwise for 6 minutes
6) the machine stops, drains, and displays error code F03.

As I said, I replaced the NTC, and the element. Before I buy any more parts does anyone have an idea?

F03 = NTC sensor on the element

I would check for broken wiring to the NTC – I suspect that it may be broken inside the insulation, if so then it may well part when tugged.

Took out the control board and checked continuity to the NTC sensor (new sensor). All good. Still getting F03 error. Has to be the PCB.
