    fault.
on all settings except spin you get 0 response except for a while, a faint hum can be heard.
on spin settings first 2, the drum turns in both directions as it should but the drum does not drain. if left, the movement stops after a while and you get no further activity.
If set to rinse and spin, water enters for a short while, drums turns several times in both directions and then movement stops.

    Any ideas would be good.
thinking dislodged plugs I have removed plugs and checked contacts
drum now 3/4 full of water. how do I empty in a trouble free way.

Sounds like the pump is not working or the sump trap is blocked, both need a close look I would say. 😉

:plug: DO PLEASE UNPLUG THE MACHINE BEFORE REMOVING THE BACK PANEL :zap:

    colis

I would think you would be best calling out an engineer to deal with this unless you can empty water from machine by lowering the drain hose into a basin at floor level.
Be warned if you remove any hoses from pump without first emptying out water your floor and yourself are likely to get very wet. 😥
Power off if you decide to try yourself :zap: or you could try Repairs@

    well done.
turned out to be elastic band around impeller + other crap.
once cleaned and air switch reset all all works fine.

    Tip. 😛 🙂
to empty drum of water get bucket with flat face press against front below door.
get vax set for water and open door ever so slightly vax sucks up spill as water pours into bucket.
CLOSE DOOR to stop water and empty bucket.
    keep on till empty.

Thanks again for your help. Nice one.

Alternately, you can just drop the drain hose into the washing-up bowl and wait………. 😀
