My washing machine keeps displaying F-08, any ideas would be gratefully received.

Is that the PCB in the bottom left hand corner as you look at it from behind?
Does it require a new PCB?

yes, but if u buy a new one, ull need to program it with a smart card and card reader

will cost u a good £130 for the stuff

Would this definately be the fault or could it be something else? I am in the RAF and am posted in Gibraltar, all the local engineers won’t touch it becasue its from Britain and its a Hotpoint, apparently they can’t get the parts.

Could anyone give me a bit more detail of what is required to to programme the the board and an estimate of the cost. I am an electronics technician by trade so if anyone has the schematics for the board I could look at replacing the relay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
