ParticipantHi all, just got a WD 645 that’s giving various errors.. f04, then f07 then it gave f11… with the washer continuously emptying .
I’ve found all parts referring to the error codes to be ok and also checked the pipe from the sump to the pressure switch all to be ok so am at a loose end and looking for a little help …b3

When you say ‘just got’ do you mean you have just acquired this machine?
Not sure how you managed to check the F07 (heater relay) fault but it sounds like the main pcb is faulty or it may be damp due to water ingress from the dryer assembly above it.
F04 can also be a pcb fault, F11 is supposed to signify a none activated drain pump.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

The heater itself can be easily tested with a suitable multimeter or better still a megger.
There are no thermostats in this machine.
All those various error codes flashing up suggest a pcb fault or bad connections due to a ‘robust’ transit.

I’ve checked the main board and cant see no ingress and looks in quite reasonable condition with no burnt or damaged tracks either… I also put my meter across the heater with a reading of 0.025 ohms is this correct? Regards .

Wash heater should be around 30?. Dryer heater approx. 43?.
Just looking at the main pcb is not enough to tell if it is OK or not, that said as it has Indesit electronics in it then just looking at the pcb on these is enough to cause them to fail.
You need to test all components, especially both heaters and motor for insulation readings. Also the dryer ntc can give several spurious error messages.

Important to do an insulation test not just resistance and continuity. 😉

just getting the f11 error now, with it emptying … f11 is a none activated drain pump but this one is on (activated) so wouldn’t this point to a dodgy pressure switch or am I just chasing my own tail!
