hotpoint wd sorted strange fault

hi just wondered if any one had this one b4 machine stopped at various intervals but would work if cust. selected each part of prog. in stages, on inspection i noticed the dryer heater was on during wash presumably control panel, so i disconnected the heater and it stopped faulting, customer not bothered about dryer so she’s happy

Yes had one where heater came on without fan whilst on wash tripped overheat then machine would just sit there but could reset prog and would then work again.

Ah, just wondered if it was the old original Hotpoint WD range or the Indesit soiled garbage.
