Hotpoint WD WD860

    I have a Hotpoint WD860 with an F05 error presure switch jammed on full.
    So far i have check the following
    I have no blockage in sink or outlet pipe i
    have checked the clear pipe that runs to the sump and the sump itself they are all clear of blockages
    The pump also works
    When i blow into the presure switch i can here it click but how many click shoulds their be?

    At the bottom of the pipe from the pressure switch to the tub there should be a small pressure vessel, it is possible to have a blockage in this as the inlet to it is very small. You could also have connector problems or the pressure switch itself could be faulty, i’m afraid that blowing into it & hearing the clicks is no proof that it’s working. Also unfortunately you need to be aware that the Electronics on Hotpoint machines are Pants, you may be better off finding a good independent local engineer to test the machine for you.
