Hotpoint wd420 the on/off light,as well as ‘drying high heat’and ‘time saver’ lights are flashing. The door locks but the machine is dead. Can anyone shed any light on this?

First try pulling off the tiny edge connectors, nipping them hard with your fingers & replacing. If this does not work, then send it to us with a note of the model no. and the fault and we will test & repair same-day (£34.90+vat) Tony (http://www.emwelec.co.uk)
