Scratching me head over this one. Ordering a board from EMW tomorrow but has anyone had this before.

Machine fills for about 20 seconds then stops dead, no codes
    Spins fine
On rinse and spin programmes the drum tumbles but no water comes in.
Checked everything, thought it might be a valve problem but why would it tumble on the rinses.
Thought it may be a pressure switch fault so why does it spin.

    Hmmmmmmmm 😕

id still be checking the valve

but then its probably the board, cant rule anything out on one of them

I have seen valves breakdown after a few seconds and then work again after a rest but as this is a WD i doubt it would be that simple 😮

On the wash fill, does the change over still occur from hot to cold ( or vicky verky) as this seems to be when it stops, had that fault on a Zanussi board a while ago. Happens same point every time so I’m doubtful its a valve. Then again at the price for the four way valve its a fair wack to shell out for a guess, I’m going to have to find a scrapper of these (shouldn’t be so hard to find 😉 ) to get some plugs for testing them tiny valve connections.
Then again…..replacement board please Tony 😀

what they do do is fill from the prewash valve for a few seconds, self test, then switch to the other valve for filling to level
hot valve on that is only used for topping up

i tend to swap the plugs over to confirm! they do push in if you push hard enuff

i had one of them, just yesterday and that was the valve, only that was because the board was faulty, and it had burned the valve out cos it was constantly on

    gotta love em
