Hotpoint WD420

Hi,

I have a Hotpoint WD420 Washer/Dryer, which isnt working at the moment. When turned on, the on/off light is flashing along with lights 1 and 4 on the left hand side. Any ideas what this could be???

Not good news I’m afraid, suggests an eeprom set up error. The Indesit made electronics may have thrown a wobbler. The Hotpoint/Indesit engineers may be able to re programme the eeprom but the software they use is not available to the independent trade. The only other alternative is to change the module and eeprom, not a viable propostion to do yourself when you are still under the manufacturers 5 year parts warranty.

Grit your teeth and phone Hotpoint. You will only 😥 have to pay their labour charge of just under £90.00 but if it does require the module etc you will not have to pay for them, also they are the only people that can re programme the eeprom in your machine.
