Hotpoint WD420 All lights flashing

Hi fellas, I called out to this one today, When you plug the machine in all of the leds flash continuosly for about a minute. You can select a program and start it, but you can’t cancel the program, when you press and hold the start/cancel button all the leds flash continuosly again and the program continues to run.
The customer reported that the machine would run all through the wash but did not spin and displayed all the flashing leds.

Any ideas anybody? 😕
