    hotpoint wd420 dead no lights, so cant see if there was a fault code! door not locked, guessing module but………..?

    Check the mains cable & mains filter, if they are OK then its the PCB, quite common. 😉

    Yeah checked them, both okay, read a thread with similar prob, someone advised to check motor brushes? would that not have thrown up a fault code/

    A quick check of the brushes and insulation test of heater is always good idea on these. You will get a light on the front but no error codes if brushes are down.
