Hotpoint WD420 Error F08

Hi all
Went to the above today the on/off together with drying high heat lights were flashing which is light 1
the known error codes points to the heater relay.
Is this relay part of the main module ? and is it repairable by EMW ?

Yes, part of the main board. If you have a scrap board you could try changing the relay yourself. You can identify which one by tracing the wires from the heater.

Could be the wash heater down to earth or pressure switch, i tend to find most of them are heater to be honest, jj

I havn’t got a scrap board so I guess I need to find out if EMW can help
I’ll give them a ring tomorrow

It could be the relay but I have replaced relays on Merloni modules with only limited success. (Works well on Zanussi’s though!).
