Hello, i’ve used your site as a starting point, but have been unable to sort out my problem. Please could you assist.
The washer starts and successfully goes through the “wash” cycle (I think it’s the rinse & Spin cycle failing), I have heard the drum spinning fast , but then it stops with the following fault lights (Code)

    LED 2 & 4 (slowly pulsing) ON/Off (rapid flash)

    (in top to bottom order):

    Drying High Heat
Reduce Creases = Flashing (slow pulsing flash)
    Rinse Hold
Time Saver = Flashing (slow pulsing flash)
    Extra Rinse

    On/Off = Flashing (rapid flash)

Water is always left in the drum, which can be pumped out after the machine is restarted and using the drain programme.

As per your previous recommendations, (based on error F05) I have removed and cleaned the filter (nothing to speak of inside), checked the pump (Water is successfully pumped out o.k), checked the pressure switch (Can easily blow down the tube to the filter/pump, can hear the pressure switch clicking when blown).

Any further suggestions/tests gratefully received. Thanks in advance.

Hi, something is still stopping the machine from either pumping out or recognising that it has pumped out, as you say you can pump out the water using the drain setting it looks like the latter, could be either the pressure switch or unfortunatly more likely the main control module faulty, best way would be use the free parts & pay the £90 hotpoint fee

Would you believe it, I thought i’d do some further investigation and found the drain to have a blockage where the washing machine connects to it. Cleared the blockage away and all seems to be o.k. Fingers crossed all is now o.k.
