ParticipantThe top “drying high heat” indicator is flashing slowly and the on/off indicator is flashing quickly!
The washer was pumping out (I think), when everything stopped and the error sequence started to flash.
What is the error code and is it fixable? New baby means it’s running every day!!!April 27, 2007 at 12:16 am #211955Penguin45

Congrats on new addition. If you pull of the bottom hose (with the power disconnected) you will probably find a few tiny socks bunging the filter up.

Took off pump and can’t find a blockage. However, I’ve found a slow leak on one of the solenoids at the water inlet point that’s been dripping onto the drain pump. Would this have the same effect regarding the fault code?

It’s the valve stem that sits inside the solenoid with the orange electrical connector. I presume this is the rinse solenoid? I think I might need a new valve set

If there is water dripping onto the pump, it may well have failed. You need to test it with a meter to see if you have a circuit throught it. Leaking water valve will certainly have to be replaced, but we will need the serial number of this machine as there were several valve variations.

I can’t find a filter in the hoses that go to the drain pump. Is there one anywhere else?

The only filter is the small plastic one that incorporates a round ‘ping pong’ sized plastic ball, this is situated in the hose that connects to the bottom of the drum and leads directly to the pump. If you lower the hose to floor level when the machine is full and the water flows out then you may have a jammed or faulty pump.
