Hotpoint WD420 pump filter access

Can anyone tell me how to access the drain pump pre-chamber on my WD420?
The programme is hanging at pump out so I suspect the chamber is full.

This is an early version of the WD420 which does not have the easy access behind the kicking board which is, apparently, featured on later versions.

No worries, it’s sorted.

I found an earlier post describing how to remove and clean the drain pump assembly.

There was no trace of the expected hair/fluff ball but after putting it back together everything works fine!

I guess the pressure switch had tripped somehow and it got reset by my fiddling.
