Yes, this model has several eprom options, this one is cold fill only and therefore available, but some i see were no longer available and you had to buy a blank one and programme it.( VERY helpful )I had advised the customer to use his 5 year warranty but he wanted me to do it. I’m beginning to wish he hadn’t. Has anyone got a wiring /connection diagram for mark 4 board just in case i’ve reversed a connection.(they are not all keyed. some are single amp tags and we all no it can happen to the best of us)

Participantid be surprised if wiring it up wrong would cause an eprom set up error tbh
its usually the eprom

For this model there is at least 3 eproms depending on which dryer version you have. (there are 3) then if it is cold fill or hot/cold fill. ๐
On some the colour of the label on the motor can make a different to. ๐ฟ ๐ฅ

Hi this is my first post, been doing a lot of reading, whenever i get a hopint indesit, which is a lot of the time!
And has a board fault i always use emw and px the old board they come with a yearโs g/tee and pre programmed so just plug them in no aggro and helps keep the repair cost down, whenever i take any boards off i use a marker pen and mark up so i donโt forget how it was,Hope is of help for other jobs like this,

Finally resolved problem which was incorrect eeprom. this one is for new heater box design, i didn’t realise there were so many options. Thanks for the advise.
Although still unsure what the difference is between heater boxes should i be unlucky enough to come across another one?March 28, 2008 at 6:30 pm #246553helo_75
Participantthe three in circulation are
original – machine was hot and cold fill , had a 4 way valve, and had a flushing valve with a filter at the back of the box
second wave – hold and cold valve, 4th valve and filter removed – heater box reverted to merloni spiral element and in line thermal fuse
3rd revision – cold fill only , flushing valve was re introduced
the bit you need to look for is whether it is h+c fill, or just cold fill and if it has a 4 way/3 way valve and a filter at the back of the box
does my head in, remove it – re introduce it, remove it – reintroduce it
none of em work well anyway
does this clarify anything?
