    Another Hotpoint WD440G with flashing lights fault. Unit begins to fill then starts pumping out and filling at same time with lights flashing.On/off light flashes with the 3rd and 4th light,these are rinse hold and timer save. You cannot stop or cancel the programme, only switching off at wall. Is this a module fault?

    It could be the PCB, 3+4 is supposed to suggest a wash side NTC ( temperature control device ) failure.

    The NTC, bad connections between the NTC and module, or indeed the module itself can cause this fault.
