    Hi, Can anyone help me with a drying issue that I have with my WD440G. I have checked the drying fan motor, and it doesn’t seem to be turning. Is there any thing that would stop the motor from turning other than a faulty motor?

    The heating element gets hot, and after a couple of minutes on the drying programme, the machines stops working until the element has cooled again.

    Any help would be really appreciated as I don’t want to fork out for a new fan motor unless it’s definitely knackered.

    theres a good chance if u take it apart youll find the fan has slipped down the shaft. it may just want refitting

    plug out, split the heater box and look, its the ony way to find out
