    This is the one with the Indesit type board. Any motor “wash” type action involves the drum moving perhaps a quarter of a turn. Distribute and spin functions appear to function normally.

    So…… motor or module? I suspect the latter, but open to ideas…

    Certainly sounds like the PCB – motor failure would generally show at most points in the cycle. Take the board out and clean and tighten the wiring plugs just in case it’s a poor connection – worth a try!!

    so far we have sold five of these little bu***** and had to uplift three! all module faults we wont be stocking any more. what is wrong with hotpoint? a fault like this should be sorted out in design
