need the mounting plate part number (if it is available) for the blower motor. it doesnt come with the new motor although its listed on partfinder as same as motor. instructions with motor says use old one but that is rusted full of holes and no part number is shown……………..help!

Never has been available as a separate part AFAIK. Was this part a boxed gen one and was the instruction leaflet to use old plate also genuine Hotpoint/Indesit ?

If not I would be sending this back from whence it came.

yep. the genuine ones are coming through without the plate, plate alone is obsolete, you may find one with the plate, just hit & miss at the mo
