this machine has has something stuck between drum and tub causing drum to jam up and the motor is out of action now, im pretty sure cos of the restriction the motor has give up the goose,
anyone know if it will have tripped out safety device inside before complete overload and can be repaired instead of replaced its a fhp motor used by hotpoint i think if opened one up before now, if i rember i struggled to crack it open,

Quite often there is a small glass fuse on the timer (on the top as you look down on it) that protects the motor. 10A if my memory serves me correctly. Check that first.

This model may have an inline ‘fast blow’ fuse inside a small black cartridge in the motor wiring harness, towards the control unit.
