I inherited a wd640 – gran couldnt cope with it – I have got the machine plugged in and happy – worked ok for a day or so and started screaming F-13 on the display.

Now it wont dry it gets things gently warm and damp

I have looked for a manual and ended up going onto the hotpoint manual request.

My living room is full of clothes drying – it reminds me of my student days – any ideas greatfully received.

F-13 on the Indesit Washer dryer (same company, similar electronics) means, as you already now know, a fault in the dryer side of the machine. It could be caused by several things, loose wires faulty NTC or temperature sensor, even faults on the main control board. Would advise clicking the link in my sig, please remove the plug if you are going to open the patient up. :zap:
