Just had a brand new shiny Hotpoint WD640 washer/dryer delivered.
On the first wash it stopped in mid-wash and F-04 was displayed on the display.
Anyone knows what this means?
We rang the Service line who offered a replacement in 10-13 days or an engineer visit – He’ll be here in two days!

Held you to ransom on this one perhaps. Just delivered, first wash???…Blimey!
Replacement machine time as the ‘error’ is somewhat indicative of a programme module/heater error, not a good sign. I expect when the engineer arrives (whenever) he will not have the part on board to fix it anyway….more delay :con:
