Hotpoint WD640 – Fault code F-03

I purchased a new Hotpoint WD640 washer dryer last weekend but following first use the digital display shows F-03. I cant find what this code means in the instruction manual or the hotpoint website.

Any help would be much appreciated

It could be a fault caused in transit if this is the first time you have used it.
F03 is supposed to indicate an NTC fault. You need to contact Hotpoint service to attend to this machine. It has Indesit electronics in it which are prone to all sorts of faults, some which don’t even match the error codes.

thanks for that, I have called service for a visit. By the way, what is an NTC fault?

The NTC is an electronic temperature sensing device, this machine has one for the wash and one for the drying cycle. F03 is the wash NTC.
