Hi all I have a problem with my hotpoint washer dryer 640g.After hearing a pop and seeing smoke come out the back I pulled out a scorched main circuit board (the one that sits behind the spin drum below left). Can anyone suggest where I can obtain new Board? Any help would be appreciated .It seema shame to get a new machine just for the sake of getting another board.

Call Hotpoint service – your machine is covered by the free 5 year parts cover. You will have to pay the labour charge (around £95) but that in itself is cheaper than a new PCB.
Also you have to consider the possibility that something else in the machine caused the PCB to fail. 😉 If that is the case, then £95 is a bargain!!Hope that helps,
