as for the re-programming, it will depend which one you are taking off & which one you are fitting, there are 4 different variants for your model,

I just assumed if the bits were not listed on whitegoods they did not sell them 🙁

how would i know what assembly would work just i was thinking it maybe easyier just to replace the lot and fix it properly if possible.

as i think i have said before it is the type with the thermal cut out under the metal shield that you can only access after removing the assembly and heating element.

why is reprograming needed as the connections are all the same by the looks of it and i thought the element wattage was the same also.
or have hotpoint just made it too clever lol 🙂

if its identical then no problem, just that some of the replacements also involved changes to the wiring & water valves too,
