Hotpoint WD71.Having problem getting the right control module for this appliance.
ordered control board twice now, C00202229/ ims 1604282, on both occasions board has come but when installed turns out its a 1000 spin washer board.Seems hotpoint has a packaging problem? has anyone come across this problem, and if so how did you get round it, unfortunately my supplier says he’s about to give up on the situation, obviously its not him who will have to give a refund 👿 .
    any help much appreciated,
    Thanks.

Board needs configuring, correct part, info sheet should have been in box.

cheers John Clarke probably wont notice the spin speed, but am afraid with this board she may notice she has lost the dryer option.
Iadom have had two boards now and the only info in the box is telling of the upgrade of the wash to grade A at 60 degrees. And the dry spin facility now incorporated in the drying programme. But no mention of Board Configuration.??

Top to bottom, the buttons go A, B, C, D etc. Press and hold A, B + D. Switch on. Release buttons. Press A. Look at screen and use button A to scroll through the options until you get to “WD1200”. Press Start to save, then switch off.

If that’s not clear enough, I can video the procedure and put it on Youtube for you to have a look at. Won’t be until the weekend, though.
