    Hotpoint WD71

    Cust complains of a kind of a “metallic shuffling kind of sound” whilst spinning, and its not dependant on load. Bearings seem fine. Any thoughts?

    Thanks. It definately looks like it could be the top back spring has been catching, there also looks like a bit of scuffing on the RH inner side panel (if your facing the m/c) caused by the motor. Any idea what causes either of these?
