Hotpoint wd71 control module does it need setting?

    Can anyone tell me if a brand new control module for the wd71 needs setting, as when I put it in it seems to think its a washer 1000 but its definatley the right module Many Thanks Spidermonkey

    Yep. it sure does.
    Hold buttons A, B and D, switch on.
    Release buttons and press A to cycle through different machines.
    Press start to save.
    Switch off and back on. Should be working then.
    (This is from memory, if I find my notes and they’re different I’ll repost.)
