Hotpoint WD72P

Attended this recently – display not working. Diagnosed faulty control board (p/no 1604282) and replaced. Just been back for “unable to set dryer” complaint. When dryer button pressed, display comes up “Time Saver”!

What have I missed here? There was no configuration sheet with the board, just a note saying that one programme worked differently.

power up whilst pressing abc+d if i remeber it should come up wm100 press a until you get wd1200 and press start a couple of times, job done.

Sorry I missed this Chris, hospital visits, a game of squash and the tea to make afterwards.

With the machine switched OFF
Press & hold A B & D buttons, Press the On button and the display will show WM1000, press the A key to scroll through the model options until you get to WD1200, press the START button ( the display will show ENGLISH)press again and display will show SELECT PROGRAMME. Config is now complete.

That worked a treat, thanks both. Does beg the question why there isn’t a cheat sheet in the box…..
