Customer called to say this machine goes through programme, drains and spins until display shows 001 min, and then starts filling again and he cant stop it.
Done search but cant see anything like this.

    Any ideas.

    Thanks

    Re: Hotpoint WD860

    Went to this machine today.
Machine has a bit of water in it (customer had bailed rest out).
The dimly lit display (cus says its always been that way since they moved in)shows 001. Turn machine on at plug on/off button lights up. Close door and machine locks and starts ramping up to spin all by itself without pumping out the little bit of water that is left in it. Pressing stop or cancel does nothing just bleeps. No buttons work at all. After machine finishes spinning it just tumbles. Screen still shows 001 and on button still lit but cannot turn off or cancel. If you turn off and on again from plug it does same again. Checked every thing, plus removed both boards and tightened everything up.The question is display board or main board or both?

    Thanks

If the customer’s happy with a re-con module then it’s got to be EMW and return the one you don’t need.

Had this on a similar machine and it was caused by an earth fault on the motor.
