Hotpoint WD860 W/Dry – faded display

Hi Folks

Been to above mach. today and looks like the display module is faulty as the display is very faint and hardly visible.. not come across this fault before.. am I correct in thinking this is just the display module or is there anything else?.. have checked for bad connections and waggled wires to see if loose connection anywhere but make no difference..

Yes display module faulty, also check that door seal isn,t perished around the heatbox excessive steam and moisture escaping can also cause this.

Will check door seal aswell then.. doubt there will be any prob as m/c just over 12mths old but will check all the same..
