    F-03 flashing and continuous fill/drain.

I have measured the resistance of the thermistors at room temp – Washer thermistor 41 KOhm, Dryer thermistor 27 KOhm.

Is it likely to be a thermistor fault or the main PCB?

If it is the main PCB is it worth replacing it as posts on this forum suggest I am likely to have more problems with this machine soon?

If I replace the PCB how/where will I get the correct one? I have already got hold of a secondhand one but the J10 connector is different and therefore I assume there are other differences on the board.

    Thanks

    oooh, gets complicated

itll be the board for sure

but theres different software variations, ull need a a card and a writer to program the board

and theres a loom change.. the j10 connector is a dead duck

or if its under 5 years old, take advantage of hotpoint 5yr parts guarantee, a snip at £99, trust me

Thanks, I think I had come to the conclusion it was the board but needed confirmation from an expert.

As it is about 4 years old I’ll take your advice, replace everything as found and call an engineer.

My main worry was paying the £99 and having a repeat in a years time.

    Thanks again.
