Hotpoint WD865 problem.

    Hi I have a Hotpoint WD865, less than 6 months old and on Sunday it stopped during a wash/dry cycle and displayed error code F-13. 😕

    I did a quick search as suggested in the sticky but couldn’t come across any suggestions for this model.

    I haven’t registered the WD for the warranty, so not sure if I will be liable for call out charges.

    Also, what do you think will happen if I try to use it for just a wash?

    I have two small children so being without a Washer is a bit of a nightmare 😀

    Does not matter that you haven’t registered warranty – as long as you have the receipt. -It wont work on wash only as fault will still be detected by module – call out hotpoint and make them suffer.

    Proof of purchase is enough for them to honour the guarantee, so no you shouldn’t have to pay.

    The call centre will try and sell you an extended warranty when you ring in, though…….
