    Hi all

Right, I’m having a run of bad luck with this machine. Due to an error code I got an exchange control module board. Got the old one out easy enough. When putting the replacement in I hadn’t realised I had loosened one of the connector plugs cable grip…….next thing I have 5 loose cables with no idea which one goes to which pin on the connector!!

The board in question is a Delta electronics EADP-C002-1. One edge of this board has only two connectors. One with 5 red cables and one with 5 blue. It is the red cables I am in trouble with.

I am guessing (and it is a guess) that these cables link to the control panel buttons on the face of the machine??

No real idea how to start tracing this.

    Can anyone help?

    Cheers

Single colour wires on a connector block usually share the exact same connections at the other end of the loom.

Thanks, you were spot on. Got nachine powered back up.

Bad news is even with the new control module I still get the F15 error code!!!

A lot of work to get nowhere fast.

Anyone got any suggestions on what to check next? Before buying the replacement board I had the pressure switch out and blowing into it I get a reassuring click so that seems to be working.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks

    Re: Hotpoint WDd960 wiring help

    Quick update.

The F15 code comes up and all 5 led’s are flashing rapidly and so is the led on the start/pause button.

If I put the machine on a spin only cycle it stops with the above error code shortly (within a few seconds) after pumpin out. If I put it on a long hot wash it will wash for about an hour before stopping with the same error.

Searching the net suggests the error relates to the heater relay (which I was lead to believe
Is on the main pcb, hence why I changed it). I have however not found an exact match for the error code and lit LED’s combination,

    Anyone seen this before?
