i replaced the drain pump on this model a few weeks ago, then got called back as it wouldnt dry so then replaced the heater and stat then a couple of days later got another call back! all the lights across the bottom flash rapidly and the spin and dry lights are on. if i turn it off at the wall then select a wash only cycle it goes for about a min, but the dryer heater heats up as its filling and washing? then the lights come on again?
ive had a module from emw with no joy & they have tested the display board for me, ive tried changing pressure switch & 3way valve with no joy,

    any ideas? paul

Is it the spiral heater? if it is i would consider trying another as they are prone to earth faults, also you must clean the condenser filter. Also check the one shot thermostat is not open circuit.

That is one of the weirdest faults I have ever heard of. Time to call in the Penguin! Until he spots the thread, I’d advise trying disconnecting components one at a time and see what happens. Obviously, sometimes nothing will work with a component disconnected but you can get round that by substituting in another one. No need to actually change it, just lead / extend the wires out to a new component safely. You can do this with a heater element, pump, motor for example, without even needing to have an exact match. OK, the job’s going to be a loser, but you’ll surely learn something worth sharing with the rest of us.

im still struggling with this one, i sent the module to emw for testing they have repaired it which has cured the problem with the heater coming on but it still shuts down and flashes after a few mins the only way ive been able to stop this is if i disconnect the thermistor plug (the one on the wash heater)??? ive nipped up the connections on module and thermistor and fitted a new thermistor and heater, also metered the wires, but no joy 😥

    help pls :bang:
    cheers paul

no its the one with the spiral heater and theone shot inline cut out,
its the wash heater thermistor that seems to be the problem area?

Hi we’ve got a fault on one of these works fine in wash but 20 mins into dry stops code showing top two lights off spin and dry light on and bottom light off think it could be therminstor at front of box on new version heater box. Has anyone got the part number for this thermistor or is it the same as the other one.
    many thanks

    Linda
