Hotpoint WDL540P -problem with drying cycle

Wash cycle 11 selected and started. Drying commenced with Door lock, start pause and dry indicators illuminated.
After 3 to 4 minutes the 4 function indicators start flashing.
The Spin indicator illuminates and the drum stops rotating.
The above occurs when the other wash cycles are selected.
