    hi ,
    hotpoint washer dryer wdud 9640 randomley fills fith water , this can happen on drying or spin cycle gives code f13 1+2+3+4+5 lights lit and flashing , anyone know what this fault is ? , thanks

    F13 is high temperature rise on drying cycle.

    Common causes are blocked condenser and also blocked pump filter.

    Hotpoint WDUD, what an interesting model reference. Is that a clue as to their reliability?

    i seem to have resolved this problem but it may be temporary , after cleaning the outflow pipe , pump and bottom drain from drum it worked ok for a week then same thing happened again , so i have removed the 1 way flap that was part of the sink trap system , hopefully it was reduced outflow leading to overheating that was causing the problem
