Hotpoint WF-340 *Rinse Hold* flashing

WM is Hotpoint Aquarius WF-340 (not the Plus version so no LCD readout).

When switched-on from cold it generally lights the *Power* light and flashes the *Rinse-Hold* light and sometimes just lights both (steady).

I see from other posts/questions that ,for other models, this error relates to Motor/Tacho…would this also be the case for the 340?

yes the chances are a motor tacho fault, i am still in contact with my hotpoint buddies who replace alot of motors and modules on this range.

Thanks for reply but the Hotpoint Engineer’s just been this morning and he replaced both the Console PCB #C00194816 and the Module+EEPROM STH W PCB #C00254297 which cured the fault!
