HOTPOINT WF 360

Hello all,

going out to see this the above machine tomorrow, its out in the sticks and the customers reporting a spin on wash fault, he’s described the fault over the blower and it fits spot on.

im sure iv seen this fault before with a late hotpoint and if my memorys serving me correctly and it doesent normally 😳 i checked the motor tacho out and it was fine ❓

Had one just like this a couple of weeks ago. FHP motor, unfortunately it was a wire broken off the tacho, just like the Hoover/Candy ones do, new motor only option so referred them back to Hotpoint.

Worth going to have a look first though, I have had two or three with wires broken in the motor plug causing same fault.

Cheers jim, funny thing iv not had many hoover tacho faults in last year, at 1 point id be sure to bump into a few a week although have been working part time as have muscular problem in groin and back 😥 no more tub changes

Perhaps as well, the tacho coil for those has been NLA for a while now. :rolls:
