Customer has called me out to this convinced its washing cold 😯 When i arrive, evolution’s missing link she calls her partener already has the lid off & suggests i want to be changing the hot valve as no water is passing through it.

Valve aint open circ, has a constant live but panel seems not to be supplying neutral, tried 90 & 60 deg wash.
Shes also convinced water level’s too low and its leaving soap on clothes. Anyway, machine IS heating normally so i wonder how much is imagined.

Oh yes, my question!!! Anyone know if this machine takes cold until press sw triggers & hot top up is timed thereafter?? If so it would explain perceived cold fill & low level.. seems a strange fault though 😕

now if you had a hardware key…..eh Martin?

Would imagine it takes in hot only on the 90 cotton wash maybe?

all late model indesit machines with a hot fill only fill hot to top up the machine, they fill to level on cold

I would think that as helo_75 says, there is nowt wrong with it.

The hot fill only comes in as a top up after the clothes have soaked up the water so you may not see any hot fill on light clothes.

Cheers chaps, i think she has got too much time on her hands. Anyone else fed up explaining low water levels & epic length progs are to be expected on modern machines :rolls:
