Heater relay is integral with the main pcb in the bottom of the machine. It is possible that there is a wiring/continuity issue from the board to the heater, but 19 out of 20, it’s the pcb that’s the culprit.

Ok.. thanks for reply …. i fixed it now. Maybe this is worth putting on the forum for others to read before they buy a new module… i guess mine was a loose connection or something …
i had F08 fault code but i guess its the same fix (ish ) for any fault code , worth trying all the same.
All i did was remove the controll module which was very easy… look at tracks on board, wipe it down and put it back…..
making sure you push all connectors back firmly….. then switch it on and wash … hey presto —— NO FAULT CODES and clean clothes….
make sure you disable the power supply and only attempt this if you feel competant. otherwise get an engineer to do it first.

How’s it going now, Andy?
I have a similar problem on an Ariston Margherita CDE12X LVA2000C and am wondering whether to take the plunge and buy a Miele or buy a pack of paper overalls and get stuck in…
