right i am booked to call out to a ladys “wf something or other”
she says it was spinning lovely then loud bang all the water came out so she stopped it took all her clothes out and saw a little “dimple” on the inner tub
so she dried her floor tryed again and it works but all the water comes out of the machine
now i assume that a coin has holed it and done this damage
now my question is this the machine is 18 months old and therefore under the hotpoint 5 year warrenty but am i right in assuming hotpoint will not undertake it as the damage is user inflicted also how much will an outer tub be to me so i can fit for her or how much is mhotpoint likely to charge her?

Correct! it will be fully chargeable and the cost of a tub change has got to be £150 plus (give us the model number for more detailed info on the price of course 😉 )
