Hotpoint WF & WMD etc super silent boards

Had a good many of the above recently with no motor action with fault code displayed. Changed the board for a known good one and everything is ok.

Have spent ages metering all the individual components on both good and bad boards but cannot find any obvious fault on the bad board.

Has anybody got any ideas as to which component is at fault in these cases – it has got to be something straightforward.

This fault tends to be caused by the motor catching the heat sink. Check it for signs of light damage on the aluminium, as for what blows not sure

Normally if you can see some damage change the shocks a well
