    Hi All,
My 70 year old mother has got a hotpoint wf210, in grey. It has recently stopped spinning at the end of the cycle, if you switch it off for a couple of minutes it will then let you do a manual spin which works fine. When it finishes the washing cycle it just stops before the spin cycle and the power and top (eco) lights just flash. I have searched on here and think the problem is the “8 lights of death” the circuit board is knackered. The rest of the machine is ok and works ok, but I presume it is not worth repairing it, even though it only gets used on a Wednesday.
If not worth repairing can anyone recommend a new machine that is not too expensive, is very easy to use, and reliable, preferably in grey or black.
Any advice greatly received, cheers Paul.

Might be worth checking to see if it’s draining completely, and also condition of motor brushes
